About Me:
Hi, I’m Lysette Tetlow — a legal professional in training, a passionate beginner golfer, and a proud mum.
By day, I’m studying for my LLM in Legal Practice (SQE1 & SQE2) with the University of Law, working towards my dream of becoming a solicitor in the UK. By night (and often the early hours), I’m a hands-on mum, making sure my son gets the love, support, and opportunities he deserves.
When I’m not deep in case law, drafting documents, or managing freelance work, you’ll find me on the fairways, chasing a different kind of challenge — one that involves clubs, confidence, and consistency. My love for golf began thanks to my husband, a PGA professional golf coach, who inspired me to pick up a club and give it a try. What started as a weekend experiment quickly became a real passion. I may still be a beginner, but I’ve embraced every swing, slice, and unexpected success along the way.
Motherhood adds a unique dimension to my journey. It’s taught me patience, resilience, and the art of managing competing priorities — skills that serve me just as well in the courtroom as they do on the golf course.
