Hi, I’m Lysette Tetlow — a legal professional in training and a passionate beginner golfer.
My journey bridges two seemingly different worlds: law and golf. By day, I’m studying for my LLM in Legal Practice (SQE1 & 2) with the University of Law, working towards my dream of becoming a solicitor in the UK. But when I’m not deep in case law or legal drafting, you’ll find me out on the fairways, chasing a new kind of challenge — one that involves clubs, confidence, and consistency.
My love for golf began thanks to my husband, a PGA professional golf coach, who inspired me to pick up a club and give it a try. What started as a fun weekend activity quickly grew into a genuine passion. I may be a beginner, but I’ve embraced every swing, slice, and surprising success along the way — and I’m documenting the journey as I go.
My story is one of growth, resilience, and reinvention — balancing motherhood, remote study, and freelance work while pursuing two dreams at once.
